Summary- Ville looks at old pictures and reflects on when they were taken
I wiped my sweaty forehead on the sleeve of my black sweater and sat down on the carpeted floor of my small flat. It had been a long, hard day and it wasn't even near being over yet. All day Bam and I had sorted through my belongings and packed them because I was moving. Soon I would be able to call Castle Bam home.
As you would imagine, it's been a happy day for us both and we've had fun going through boxes of things that I'd forgotten about. We found twenty of Bam's old socks, some old tapes of the band, Bam's skateboard, and Bam's toothbrush. Bam seems to lose something every time he visits me.
My Bammie was currently off on one of the most important missions ever; getting us beer. I told Bam that I would continue going through stuff while he was gone, but I had taken a break instead. I'm not lazy, really. Bam just pushes me too hard.
Though I was beginning to feel a bit lazy just sitting there staring at the big, brown boxes in my flat. I looked over in the corner and spotted a red folder sitting there. Hmm, I wonder what's inside it?
Getting up, I went over to the corner and bent down to pick up the folder. It was fairly thick and heavy for a folder, and it looked quite worn too. I looked at it for a moment before smiling. I remembered it now. In the folder were old pictures of Bam and me. I looked around the flat one more time before sitting down with the folder in my hands. I turned it over in my hand a couple of times before opening it.
Both of the pockets in the folder were stuffed with pictures. I smiled and pulled out all of the ones in the left pocket. They were all neatly put in little stacks, so I started to look through them.
The first one I looked at made me grin. In the picture, Bam was on his bed back at his castle. He was shirtless and had a Heartagram necklace around his neck and baggy blue jeans on. He looked adorable as always, but what was especially cute was what he was doing. I grinned, remembering when the picture was taken.
I yawned as I walked up the stairs on my way to Bam's room. It had to be sometime after five in the morning because the sun was just starting to come up. The house was actually silent for once except for a creaking sound coming from upstairs. I figured that it was probably one of the guys doing things I didn't want to think about with some girl that they'd picked up from the bar.
I was walking as quietly as I could as I approached Bam's room. I had gotten up just to use the bathroom but then I had gotten a snack and then a sandwich. Anyways, I had been out of bed for a while, and I didn't want to wake my Bammie up getting back into bed. I had left the door ajar, so I crept up to it and opened it quietly to see a surprising sight.
Bam wasn't sleeping. He was on the bed, but he wasn't definitely wasn't sleeping. Instead, he was bouncing up and down on his bed, making a creaking sound with every bounce.
"Hey Willa! You left me!" Bam called, shattering the early morning silence. I stared at him jumping up and down energetically on his bed and grinned. How cute!
"I just went to the bathroom and then went to get some food. What are you doing, sweetheart?" I asked, amused. There was a huge grin plastered on his face as he bounced.
"Well, April never let me jump on the bed when I was a kid, so I figured that I'd do it now! Come on Willa, bounce with me, it's fun!" Bam said loudly, holding his arms out in front of him as if he expected me to grab his hands. I looked around me to make sure that no one was around and then I turned back to Bam and grinned.
"Eh what the hell?" I said, laughing and running over to the bed with my arms wide open. Bam giggled that cute little giggle of his that he only does when we're alone and he knows that no one is listening. I jumped up onto the bed, took him into my arms, lifted him up, and spun him around once before putting him back down. He laughed, grabbed my left hand, and started bouncing again. I bounced with him, unable to contain my laughter.
"This is fun, sweetheart!" I exclaimed, leaning forward to give Bam a quick peck on the lips. He smiled and kissed me back, sweat dripping down his forehead, a huge smile on his face, and laughter dancing in his blue eyes.
"What the fuck are you two doing?" I heard a voice coming from the hallway and I jumped, as did Bam. I turned around and stared. It was Dico. He looked sleepy but amused as he watched us with his hands behind his back. Bam turned to look and he froze when he saw Dico.
"Um....hello there...." Bam said, his eyes wide and his 'oh shit I've been caught' look on his face.
Dico grinned and brought his arm in front of him to reveal a camera.
"Dude....this is going to be priceless when it develops!" he said, laughing and running off. I giggled and turned to look at Bam, staring after Dico. Bam stared and then shrugged, looking back at me.
"Eh, whatever, it'll just be one more picture with my hot little Willa in it!" he said, grinning. I laughed and kissed him again.
I giggled as I looked at the pictures from that morning. We looked so happy jumping on Bam's bed. I placed the picture on the carpet next to me and grabbed some more pictures. The top one was of us in bed together, but we were laying down this time. Bam was on his stomach with his head on a pillow and his arms wrapped around the pillow. I was on my stomach on top of him, my head rested on Bam's neck and my arms around him. The blanket was wrapped around us up to our bare chests. We were asleep in a hotel.
The interesting thing in the picture wasn't us lying there, however. It was Mige, who was standing next to the bed. He was grinning and waving at the camera with one hand, and in the other one he held a sign made out of paper. It read, 'Ville's smiling in his sleep, Bam looks exhausted, and we were kept up all night. Guess what happened?´ I laughed. Mige had shown me the picture a while ago, and I had playfully shoved him and grinned. He had just been joking.
I put that picture on the floor next to me and moved on to the next ones. They weren't particularly interesting. There was one of a very shirtless Bam holding a skateboard and posing cutely for the camera. There was also a cute one of Bam holding me in his arms, his cheek against mine. I smiled and felt my heart swell with love for my Bammie.
I moved on to the next picture. It was a picture of Bam and me sitting on the grass outside of castle Bam. Bam looked as if he was trying to look very angry but failing, and I was pretending to look hurt. I had to look at it for a moment before I remembered what was happening in it, but when I did, I laughed. Dunn had hidden behind a tree and taken the picture.
"Hey Bammie!" I yelled, running over to where my lover was sitting on the grass with a skateboard in his lap. I approached him from behind, siting down on the grass and scooting over so that I was sitting next to him. I grabbed his skateboard right out of his arms, threw it a few feet away, and climbed into Bam's lap.
"Fuck Ville, don't throw my board!" Bam said, but he was laughing. I grinned and planted a firm, wet kiss on Bam's cheek and wrapped my arms around his neck. Bam wrapped his arms around me and kissed my neck.
I was feeling oddly hyper and energetic, so I pulled away and moved out of Bam's lap.
"I know something that you don't know!" I announced, grinning. Bam grinned back.
"What's that?" he asked.
"You're never going to guess!" I answered, rocking back and forth energetically.
"Ok, then why don't you just tell me?" Bam asked.
"Hmmm... ok! I love you!" I announced, giggling. Bam grinned and scooted over to me, pulling me close to him and suffocating me with a tight hug.
"I love you too!" he said, cuddling me. I laughed.
"Maybe so, love, but I love you more!" I said. Bam frowned and pushed me away a bit. I knew that he was planning something.
"No, I love you more," he said seriously, looking into my eyes.
"I don't technically think that that's possible," I said. Bam gasped. "Are you telling me that I'm wrong?" he asked, pretending to sound angry. I laughed.
"Yes I am! I love you much more than you love me!" I said.
"Shut up buttwipe! I love you more! You don't know what the hell you're talking about!" Bam yelled, laughter written all over his face.
"I love you more you bastard!" I yelled, biting my lip so as not to laugh.
"You're a dick! I love you more than you love me, got it asshole? So get your cute little ass over here and give me a kiss!" Bam yelled. I grinned and scooted back over to him, but instead of just giving him a kiss, I knocked Bam down onto the grass and lay on top of him. Then I gave him a kiss on the lips.
"I love you Bammie," I said.
"Love you more Willa," Bam said.
"Oh you do, do you?" I asked, smirking.
"Shit, we are not doing that again!" Bam exclaimed. We both laughed a bit and kissed again, tired from our little game.
I smiled. We're such an odd couple. Still, our relationship is close to perfect. I grabbed some more pictures and found one of me sitting on Bam's skateboard with my eyes tightly closed and my legs close to my chest in front of me, close to the end of the board. Bam was behind me, pushing me. Some skater had taken this picture, though I didn't remember who.
I sat on the concrete of the skate park off to the side, watching Bam skate. He was doing a trick on the half pipe and was doing a totally amazing job as usually, but that didn't keep me from being totally bored.
My head rested on my hand and my elbow was rested on my knee as I stared around the skate park. Of course, everyone knew who Bam was and was cheering him on as he landed trick after trick perfectly. I rolled my eyes as he did a particularly complicated one, landing it and raising his arms up in victory with a smug smile on his face. Show off.
After landing a few more tricks, Bam turned to look at me. He grinned and rode off of the half pipe over to where I was, going faster and not showing any sign of stopped. I screamed and closed my eyes, expected Bam to crash into me but when I opened my eyes, he was stopped about a foot from me.
"Don't do that! You scared me!" I snapped. Bam rolled his eyes.
"Loser. Come on, you're going to skate," Bam announced. I was about to protest, but before I could even open my mouth Bam had grabbed my hand and pulled me onto my feet.
"Bammie!" I whined as Bam pulled me off to the half pipe.
"Stop it, come on! I'll just show you how to ollie and I'll catch you if anything happens. I won't let you get hurt!" he said, wrapping his arm around my shoulder and kissing my cheek. I sighed.
Bam left me at the half pipe and ran back to get his board. All the teenage boys that had gathered around to watch Bam skate were staring at me. I stared back none too kindly.
Bam came running back over to me with his board. He threw it down on the concrete. I smiled and got an idea.
Before Bam could react I had sat down on top of the board, my legs in front of me close to my chest.
"I'm not skating!" I said, smirking at Bam. Bam stared at me.
"Fine, don't, but you can't stop me from doing this!" he yelled as he got behind me and pushed me hard, running a few steps and then letting me and board go flying up the half pipe. I screamed louder than I'd ever screamed before and gripped the front of the board as I felt it slow down and then go backwards.
"Bammie! Bammie holy shit Bammie! Bammie help!" I screeched, closing my eyes tightly. I was going to die!
Then I felt arms wrap around my waist and lift me up off of the board. I felt the arms put me down. I opened my eyes.
"There you go baby. You ok?" Bam asked. I stared at him, tears in my eyes.
I could have died!" I yelled crossly. Bam smiled.
"Sorry, but hey, I kept my promise, didn't I?" Bam asked, kissing my lips tenderly.
"What promise?" I asked, feeling my anger melt away.
"The promise that no matter what I'd keep you safe. Forever and ever," Bam whispered in my ear. I smiled.
"Oh Bammie."
I jumped when I heard the door to my flat open.
"Hey baby, I have beer!" Bam called, walking into the room. He set the beer down on the floor with a clinking sound.
"Whatcha looking at?" he asked, coming over to me.
"Old pictures of us," I answered. Bam sat down on the floor next to me. I put the folder and the pictures all down and climbed into Bam's lap, wrapping my arms around his neck. He was nice and warm and he smelled good. "They've made you all clingy!" Bam said, smiling and wrapping his arms around me, rocking me back and forth.
"I love you Bam," I said softly, kissing his cheek. Bam smiled and kissed me back.
"I love you too," he said, kissing me again. I thought of the promise he had made me, that he'd always protect me.
"Will you love me forever?" I asked him, nuzzling his cheek with my own.
"Yup. Forever and ever," he answered. I looked up into his blue eyes.
"Promise?" I asked. He grinned.
"Promise."
